Serving you

For over 10 years, Safebus has been helping bus managers across Australia maintain their buses within regulations. We can take care of all of your school bus light needs.

Our lights have been designed & developed in Australia and are produced to suit all buses available on the Australian market.

Look out for installers who do not understand the risks of not installing the lights & signs in line with regulations, especially those who just “slap on some lights and a couple of signs”.

We’ve compiled a list of things to look out for:

  • Lights installed behind tint: the tint changes the colour of the light and may be an accident hazard (especially in smaller buses like the Toyota Commuter)
  • Lights that are too small: watch out in particular for round lights and narrow rectangle lights
  • Lights that are installed too low: if installed below the windscreen, they are too low
  • Incorrect distance between the lights and the signs
  • Signs mounted too low

These are just some of the mistakes that installers make.
